All tow bars we fit are purchased from reputable specialist suppliers like Witter, Brink, Westfalia, Bosal etc. This is because all our work is guaranteed. (We are unable to fit customers’ second hand tow bars as they cannot be covered by our guarantee).
We pride ourselves on the neatness of our bumper cuts (when necessary), each bumper is carefully measured and every cut made slowly and with precision.
We constantly receive up to date information and advice from all our suppliers about their tow bars, so customers can be advised before they go ahead whether a bumper cut is required during a fitting.
All parts which need to be temporarily removed from a car during a fitting are carefully laid out in a clean, safe area.
We try and use the most suitable tow bar for your vehicle, and can usually advise you about the tow bar type most appropriate, and neatest, for your needs.
Most of the newest cars require wiring kits, but this not always the case if for example the tow bar is being used for a cycle carrier. In these instances we can do a fitting for a lesser cost by using a 7 way by pass electrical system instead. Please advise us regarding your towing needs.
If needed, a specialist wiring kit means that your car will have vehicle stability activation, fog light cut out, reversing sensor cut out, bulb failure warning on the dashboard, bulb monitoring on the dashboard (to let you know if a bulb has failed). *Some coding may be necessary on certain vehicles, and is normally done at the dealership whilst being serviced.
Alternatively, we wire the vehicle for a single electric socket with a 7 way bypass relay, with an audible warning in the back (to say if the indicators are working).
An electrical system, 12N, is compulsory when having a tow bar fitted.
