Tow Bars
The tow bars we use are always purchased from specialist suppliers like Witter, Brink, Bosal and Westfalia.
Witter was the first supplier used when Anglia Towbars (Newmarket) Ltd. started trading, because of their reputation for quality. Brink (Thule), has become invaluable to us because it has so many vehicle applications available, with thousands of tow bars to choose from and we also regularly use Bosal and Westfalia because of their neatness and good fit.
We guarantee our complete workmanship and the components that we use, for the period in which you own the vehicle.
In order to do this we ensure that:
- We can provide the type of tow bar that you require or advise you which one is suitable for your vehicle; a Swan neck, detachable or fixed bar.
- We stock the full range of all types tow balls plus a range of couplings.
- We also stock Bumper Protector Plates for standard or detachable tow bars, the standard version can also be purchased in stainless steel.
- We have a comprehensive range of socket mounting plates suitable for your vehicle.
- We stock stabilizers and all mounting plates.
- We hold in stock the specialist wiring modules suitable for the modern vehicle.
- We take every precaution to protect your vehicle both inside and out.
- We try to fit into your schedule whenever possible.

We pride ourselves on the neatness of our bumper cuts, by having the most up to date information and diagrams from our suppliers. We use only the most suitable tow bar for your vehicle, whether a fixed, detachable, Swan Neck etc. and can advise you of the best type to choose, which will suit your everyday and leisure requirements.
If we don't have the tow bar you require in stock, we can order it the same day and in most cases it is usually here within 48 hours. On the most modern vehicles we only use the compatible wiring kit for your vehicle. This has become a necessity because of the complications which can occur later.
Using the specialist wiring kits means that, for example, your vehicle has dashboard bulb recognition and it operates the reversing sensor cut off. These electrical systems work in conjunction with TSP (Trailer Stability Program), and although they are often quite expensive, sometimes almost as much as the tow bar, we can only fit the appropriate system to guarantee the fitting (the warranty).
The electrical installation is all part of the fitting of the tow bar. It is compulsory to have the 12n single socket system, but you can also have the 12s caravan socket or the new 13 pin European system.
Unless you know your requirements it is best to state your vehicle type etc. and then we can advise you on the best type of installation.
